AFC Liverpool 2-1 Norton United

AFC Liverpool moved up to third in the table after coming from behind against Norton United. Thomas Winkle gave the visitors a half time lead but strikes from John Kennedy and James Thomas saw the Reds win for the second time in three days.

Despite being the better side in the first half the Reds fell behind on thirty five minutes when a free kick into the area wasn’t dealt with and Winkle slotted home.
Kennedy’s first goal of the season levelled the scores on sixty two minutes when he capitalised on a mistake by keeper Leigh Miller. Then with both teams pressing for a winner, it was Thomas’ first goal for the club two minutes from time that gave the Reds all three points.
