AFC Liverpool v Chadderton: Match Preview
AFC Liverpool play the first of two games in three days when they take on Chadderton at Valerie Park this coming Tuesday.
With the season drawing to a close the Reds will be looking to retain their unbeaten run in the hope of securing a top four finish. Since the arrival of new manager Paul Moore, the Reds have won six of their seven matches, with the latest a 4-0 demolition of third placed Norton United.
Chadderton come to Valerie Park for the final match of their campaign, currently occupying fourth spot, one point ahead of the Reds. The visitors themselves have been steadily rising up the table over the past month having managed six wins and two draws from their last nine games.
One thing that is encouraging for AFC Liverpool’s front line is that Chadderton have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last twenty two outings. With the Reds having netted sixteen times in their previous seven games, hopefully come the end of Tuesday night they would have ousted their visitors from fourth place.
Date: Tuesday 4th May 2010
