In the latest pre-season friendly, a second string team lost 5-0 to the West Cheshire Division 1 side.

A team comprised of reserve team players and trialists never really clicked and after being 1-0 down at the break, conceded a further four goals in the second half.

Tomorrow evening the Reds have another friendly, taking on Heswall, another team from the West Cheshire Division 1. The game takes place at Gayton Park, Brimstage Road, Heswall, CH60 1XG and kicks off at 7.30pm.
