AFC Liverpool take an away trip this weekend as they look to close the gap to the top.

With leaders AFC Blackpool in cup action, the Reds have the chance to halve the six point difference between first and second. With last week’s postponement interrupting the momentum gained from a hard won victory over Wigan Robin Park, a win against an improving Colls will push the Reds on in their promotion campaign.
The hosts are unbeaten this year scoring ten goals in three games. Two four goal knocks against Daisy Hill, in the league and First Division Trophy sandwiched a 2-1 league win over Rochdale Town. This arrested a run which saw five losses in seven games prior to the big freeze and they now sit seventh in the league. With last season’s results both going the way of Atherton, a victory for the Reds will be doubly sweet for the fans.
