Tuesday’s Pre-Season Friendly match against Bootle has been postponed.

AFC Liverpool striker Matthew McDermott, who featured in the Vauxhall Motors friendly, has been involved in a serious traffic accident in the early hours of sunday morning. Details are sketchy right now but it appears that he has been involved in a hit and run on Dale Street in Liverpool City Centre and he is currently in a serious condition in Walton Hospital.

As a result of this, Tuesdays game against Bootle FC has now been postponed.
