AFC Liverpool Captain Paddy O’Driscoll has decided to take a break from football, and has now left the club with immediate effect. Speaking from his Facebook page: “Thanks to the fans for all the support for the past couple of years, ive decided to take a break from footy for a bit which i know isn’t the best timing but i wish paul , dave and walshy all the best and the board success for the future and the lads who deserve to do well this year. Thanks again, Paddy”

Everyone at the club would like to express their thanks for his time at AFC Liverpool, and wish him all the best for the future.

No decision has yet been made as to who will replace him as club captain.
