Following Saturday’s FA Vase success AFC Liverpool return to league action as Daisy Hill come to Valerie Park on Tuesday evening.

The visitors lie fourteenth in the table with five points from their seven games, with their only league success coming at home against Chadderton. Two draws against Rochdale Town completes their points tally while they have succumbed to defeats against AFC Blackpool, Irlam, Wigan RP and Cheadle Town.

In their two previous visits to Valerie Park, the visitors have had mixed results. In our first season, the Reds comfortbaly won the fixture 4-0 but last season it was Daisy Hill who took all three points as they won 3-1.

AFC Liverpool will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven games and depending on Irlam’s result, the Reds will be second in the table should they claim all three points.
