AFC Liverpool travel to New Sirs this Saturday afternoon.

If the rain doesn’t postpone the fixture, then this will be only the second game the Reds have played this month. The other was the defeat to Runcorn Town, whom our hosts played last weekend when they suffered a 9-1 defeat. That result means that its five defeats and one draw since the turn of the year for Daisy Hill, conceding thirty goals in the process while scoring eleven.

Just ending the first half of the league campaign with only ten weeks left in the season means that the run in is going to become hectic for all the clubs involved. For the Reds to remain in the hunt for promotion, they must begin to string together a run of victories. With games soon to be coming thick and fast, momentum needs to be built and hopefully it can be initiated by claiming all three points tomorrow afternoon.
