Glossop NE v AFC Liverpool – Cup Preview
Now that the snow has disappeared, all AFC Liverpool eyes turn to Glossop, as the Reds take on North End in the third round of the Vodkat League Cup.
Glossop North End are a former league club (from 1898 – 1915) and are founder members of the North West Counties Football League.
They currently lie ninth in the Vodkat Premier League, having won nine of their nineteen games.
Before the big freeze interrupted proceedings, North End were having mixed fortunes, having won only once in five games after previously suffering just one defeat in thirteen.

Directions from Liverpool: M62, M60, M67 and A57 to Glossop. Turn left at traffic lights (near the Tesco sign), Glossop Brook Road. Follow road to top of hill. Ground is the on right. One thing to note for those using Sat Nav is that you should put Glossop Brook Road into your machine rather than Surrey Street, as the road is blocked before the ground.
