Liam Coyne Departs
Liam Coyne, AFC Liverpool’s Captain and first ever contracted player, has left the club for pastures new, joining Mossley in the Evo-Stick Division 1 North.
Central defender Liam made 60 appearances for the Reds, scoring 7 great and memorable goals.
He was a much loved character and will be missed by many fans and players alike.
Liam, whose contract was up at the end of last season, was the Club Captain and as such captained the side to back to back Vodkat Trophy wins, making history by being the first team to not only win it twice but to defend the trophy.
Liam leaves AFC Liverpool with the best wishes of everyone and we hope he doesn’t rule out a return one day.
