The reds take a trip into the heart of Staffordshire this coming Saturday to face an Eccleshall side that have had an indifferent start to the season.
Rooted in mid table, with three wins and four defeats from their opening eight fixtures, the Eagles have found scoring goals hard to come by, whilst their defence are prone to leaks, emphasised by their 6-0 thrashing at Holker Old Boys.

However, reds fans shouldn’t take that as three points guaranteed. Eccleshall finished mid table last season but still proved tricky opponents for AFC Liverpool.
The encounter at Pershall Park, on a cold March night, was a tight affair, being settled in the reds favour by a late Ian Sheridan penalty.
The reds though will take heart from last weeks win against Oldham Town, where dogged resistance was eventually overcome with Tod Bamber’s two late strikes to keep AFC Liverpool’s promotion campaign on track.
