AFC Liverpool travel to Oldham Boro this Saturday looking to get their promotion push back on track.

Following Wednesday night’s defeat to Runcorn Town, three points for the Reds is a must. The hosts currently lie thirteenth in the table with four wins and four draws from their sixteen games. Since the turn of the year, they’ve only played two games, drawing 2-2 with Rochdale Town and losing 2-0 to AFC Darwen. That defeat though was five weeks ago and Oldham Boro haven’t played since, so match fitness could be a factor.

Hopefully the Reds’ players won’t be jaded from having to play forty five minutes with nine men, and with thoughts of a 4-1 win against the hosts earlier in the season, three points are certainly achievable.
