AFC Liverpool Awarded Charter Standard Status

AFC Liverpool are delighted to announce that the club has achieved Charter Standard status.

This is a great achievement for our young football club and it is reward for all the hard work that the board and coaches have put in over the past year.

Chairman of AFC Liverpool Chris stirrup said today, “This is an excellent achievement for our young club and it lays down another foundation for our future development. It’s a proud day in our history.”

“I am delighted that all our hard work has finally paid off at this crucial time for our club,” said Gary Beggs, Business Development Officer. “We are currently completing our business plan for the club to apply for funding for our stadium in the city of Liverpool and this is a major box ticked off our huge task list.”

“I personally want to thank first team manager Paul Moore who has put so much work in to help us achieve this goal. Most people think the manager’s job is to just bring in players, coach them and then pick the team on a match day but that is only half the story. This maybe true in the cash rich football clubs in the modern game but not at our level. Paul has worked so hard on and off the pitch week in, week out, to help this club move forward and he is a big asset to our club. I can’t forget to mention Paul Young and Harriett Miller whom have also played major roles in helping us achieve this. Paul has helped set up a superb youth system which would probably match some Football League clubs out there and Harriet has helped form and develop the women’s and girl’s set up to our club, which is also doing very well!”

Today’s announcement is a huge step for our club, which sends a message to the football world that we are a club on the way up. The club has a great structure now and we hope to have many more good announcements in the near future.
