AFC Liverpool wish to pass on their condolences to the family and friends of Paul Rice, one of the founders of Spirit of Shankly.

A familiar face among Liverpool supporters, Paul was vice chair and vice president of the organisation and had recently been elected to Liverpool FC’s Supporters Committee to represent fans in the Merseyside area.

A minute’s silence was held before the Barnoldswick Town game to commemorate Paul and Anita Shaw, former Secretary at Formby FC, who passed away suddenly last week.
