This is 1st season as AFC Liverpool, having previously played as Cougars JFC in the Bootle and Litherland League and then recently in Hightown.

They have enjoyed success, winning 5 major trophies since 2005,2010 winning the league in Hightown,and in 2011 doing the double – winning the Southport Super Cup and the Wales Challenge Cup.

Formed in 2005, they still retain 6 of the original 12 players; and have a squad of 17 players.
